Vela Tango 700 manual lift
Vela are a Danish company. Their Tango range of chairs help maintain safe mobility and independence in the home. This manual version is identical to the more popular electric chair, except that it uses a gas lift rather than an electric motor to raise and lower the seat. For clients who do not have any problems with rising to stand or sitting, this may be the preferred option. This manual model still features the powerful brake for safe transfer.
The Vela Tango 700 is an extremely versatile chair that is suitable for anyone with mobility issues from teenager to senior adult. The large easy rolling wheels are set wide apart to allow the user to ‘scoot’ the chair with their feet, and the easy to use 2 wheel handbrake ensure stability for transfer or perching.
A Tango can benefit many clients. Many are simply ageing gracefully, and need extra support with standing and moving. Some clients have more chronic health conditions which need greater support.
The chairs are 55cm wide so they can fit through any standard size doorway. Maximum user weight for the manual model is 130kg. There are also bariatric models for users up to 300kg, and childrens models as well.
There are two different cushions available in various sizes offering differing levels of support. The are many different accessories which can be added depending on the clients needs. The wide 4 wheel base and powerful easy to operate handbrake ensure stability at all times. The chair is available with various different heights, and this manual version adjusts by pulling a lever which operates a gas lift, very much like a traditional office chair. There for the user has to be able to raise themselves while at the same time pulling up the lever to raise the seat.
The Tango looks more like an office chair, but has a lot more functionality than you’ve seen in a chair before.
There is a large choice of sizes and cushions together with a massive range of accessories, there’s very likely to be a Tango to suit you.

From Swedish manufacturer Conform, the Timeout sets new standards in comfort and versatility. With over 300 combinations of wood, base and fabric you’re sure to find a style that suits you.
The Timeout features a swivel return base and the headrest is adjustable for height and angle. The backrest reclines effortlessly and smoothly by lifting the handle on the right hand side of the chair.

Sides – You have the option to have the sides upholstered in the same fabric as the rest of the chair, or you can choose to have wood sides – Walnut, Oak, Untreated Oak or black stained Oak.
Feet – The standard foot base is a 5 star or ‘Quattro’ in black or aluminium, For a little extra you can have a wood inlay or a solid wood to match the wood sides of your chair.
A 5cm taller back rest is available for £60, and an extra 3.5cm in base is a £15 option.
A ‘Large’ chair that is bigger in every dimension is now also available.
Your chair will be built to your specification in Sweden and shipped to us in Devon to deliver to you. This usually takes about 8 weeks, but does fluctuate according to the workload at the factory.

Salli Expert
The Expert has been designed for demanding precision work and is favoured by dentists and surgeons.
Sallis two part saddles keep the pelvis in an upright position and the spine in alignment while also offering benefits to circulation and ventilation.
The Expert uses the tilt adjustable Multi Adjuster seat or the fixed twin seat.
The Expert comes with the Salli’s ‘Top and Bottom’ accessory which allows the user to adjust the height of the stool using their feet, as well the hand control. It also incorporates the Stretching support and elbow supports.
Covered in breathable black Polyurethane. Other colours are available and natural leather can be specified for non clinical environments.
Small, medium and long gas lifts can be supplied and metalwork in chrome or black.

RH Axia 2.4
An Axia 2.4 black chair with black ‘Select’ wool upholstery from UK stock. Delivery usually under 2 weeks.
BMA is a Dutch company – BioMechanisch Adviesbureau (biomechanical consultancy) established in 1988, who in 1996, used their extensive knowledge and research to produce produce the Axia range of chairs.
Now with over 1 million chairs sold Axia is well established as one of the best task chairs available.
Most of us can stand and walk all day without back pain, and without a back rest. When we sit, our pelvis reclines, and our weight is now behind our pelvis, not on top of it where it was designed to be. This position stresses the lumbar region, so we need to recline into a backrest to help with this stress.
Axia is different. It has enhanced pelvic support which results in a chair that is not only comfortable and supportive for long hours and intense workloads, it’s overall shape and design is particularly well suited to the home study, as well as the office.

Ergochair Adapt 700 SE
The Adapt 700 SE is designed to meet the needs of a growing bariatric population and is available for next day delivery.
Suitable for users over 150kg and up to 250kg, the SE model is supplied in black Agua Chea fabric which is compliant for home working and commercial use.
The Adapt 700 has a 2.5:1 tilt mechanism and a separate back angle adjustment. Inflatable lumbar support, multi layered foam construction and a polished aluminium base come as standard.
