Saddle stools promote a healthier posture by keeping the pelvis in a neutral, balanced position. Therefore the lumbar spine is not stressed as in traditional seating so just like when we are standing, we do not need a backrest to lean into.

The Score Amazone Balance is an ergonomic saddle stool. The Balance mechanism follows the natural movement of the body helping it to work at it’s best. Pull the ring under the seat to adjust the height, turn the ring to adjust the tension in the movement.

The higher seating position of the saddle stool allows for a more neutral 135 degree hip angle. This halfway position between sitting and standing keeps the pelvis balanced and the spine protected from ligament and disc strain in the lumbar region. The open angle also promotes better flow of fluids and oxygen around the body.

Score offer two saddle types, this smaller Amazone which is 34cm wide and preferred by around 75% off users. Some larger people prefer the Jumper.

Supplied in Stamskin, a tough leather look fabric with an antimicrobial and anti-fungal treatment and is waterproof and washable. Or Trevira CS, a hard wearing polyester for a softer touch. Other fabrics are available and for a really personal finish you can order dual colours on a stool. The Score Jumper with Balance mechanism is an ergonomic saddle stool. The design of the saddle tilts the pelvis forward and promotes a healthy ‘S’ curve in the spine.

The higher seating position of the saddle stool allows for a more neutral 135 degree hip angle. This halfway position between sitting and standing keeps the pelvis balanced and the spine protected from ligament and disc strain in the lumbar region. The open angle also promotes better flow of fluids and oxygen around the body.

The Jumpers wider seat results in a narrower hip angle than the Amazone. As such, a larger part of the body weight rests on the seat and gives the Jumper a sitting experience nearer to that of a traditional chair than some saddles.

The Balance mechanism brings constant movement to sitting, which benefits the whole body. The saddle moves subtly with you which strengthens core muscles and the spine. The ring adjusts the height of the saddle and the tension of the Balance mechanism.
