In a traditional chair your pelvis reclines as you sit, and this stresses the lumbar spine. On a Salli saddle, the pelvis maintains it’s natural balanced position and you sit on your sit bones. For this reason, you do not need a back rest. Probably the healthiest way to sit.

Score Jumper Balance Lumbar

The Jumpers wider seat results in a narrower hip angle than the Amazone. As such, a larger part of the body weight rests on the seat and gives the Jumper a sitting experience nearer to that of a traditional chair than some saddles.

Viasit Corechair Classic
Taking modern thinking regarding active sitting and pelvic support, the designers of the Corechair have produced a chair that supports the pelvis in such a way that the spine maintains its natural curve. Therefore the body is able to keep itself upright without the need for a large backrest. We don’t need a backrest to stand, so we don’t necessarily need one while sitting.
By providing a uniquely shaped seat and a small pelvic support, when sitting on Corechair your body is free to move without the constraints of a high backrest.
Traditional chairs transfer all the weight of the sitter to the pelvis. This encourages a slumped posture. A good backrest will help to prevent damage and alleviate some of the symptoms of a slumped posture. The uniquely shaped seat, made from entirely recycled materials allows the user to sit on their sit bones. This is a more balanced position for the pelvis, prevents slumping and engages the bodies core muscles to maintain a healthy spine.

Tajoma Dojo rise-recliner
A wonderful modern take on a rise recline chair. Tajoma Dojo chair has modern elegant lines, and a tall fully upholstered back and head rest.
The Dojo rise recliner has single or dual motors. With the dual motor option the back rack and footrest can be operated separately. On the Dojo the footrest riser higher than most for a very relaxing zero gravity position. Further the chair can at the touch of a button rise at the rear while tilting forward slightly to ease you into an almost upright position.
The Dojo’s capacity is 120kg, but a 158kg version can be specified.
