Heartburn, Acid Reflux, GERD, GORD and similar medical conditions all result from acid seeping upwards during sleep when laying flat. When sleeping slightly tilted gravity helps stop this occurrence and reduces associated discomfort and sleep disruption.
The Adult Bed Wedge can be used in many ways. Place it under your pillow to sleep in a raised comfortable position, ideal for sufferers of hiatus hernia, rhinitis, glaucoma and respiratory problems. Use as a back support in bed. Place the Bed wedge at the bottom of the bed to raise and support your legs. This provides relief from varicose veins, swollen ankles, phlebitis and oedema.

In a traditional chair your pelvis reclines as you sit, and this stresses the lumbar spine. On a Salli saddle, the pelvis maintains it’s natural balanced position and you sit on your sit bones. For this reason, you do not need a back rest. Probably the healthiest way to sit.

Ergochair Adapt Lift
The Adapt Lift chair has been designed specifically for people who need some extra help, either with adjusting the height of their chair, or getting in and out of it.
Adapt Lift comes with a custom made seat and backrest from the Adapt 600 range. A full seating assessment will be required when ordering so that we have the correct measurements to make the perfect fit for you.
Using the Adapt Lift handset the chair can be raised, lowered, tilted and locked into position for safe transfer.
For people with specific postural issues we can also build Ergochairs Vtrak back rest and neck supports into the Adapt Lift chair.
